Hawaii
This romantic destination is tailor-made for honeymoon bliss. Depending on how much time you have, you can visit one, two or even three islands in one trip. Most people start in Honolulu and often spend at least two nights here. This will allow enough time to see Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach. From here you can then go on to either Maui or Kauai. This is where the types of activities you plan on doing helps determine which direction you go. For a one-week stay, you can spend four or five nights on either island and find plenty to do. The major advantage of a Hawaiian honeymoon is you don’t need to worry about passports.
Cruises
There’s no doubt that while cruising you are pampered. With so many destinations to choose from, there’s something for everyone for as little as three nights all the way to 10 nights. Also, until sometime in the summer of 2008, you can still cruise the Caribbean without needing passports. Depending on your interests and activities, an agent can narrow down the options to find the right fit. All-Inclusive Resorts
All-inclusive has been the #1 request for the past two years. The trend has picked up and most Caribbean islands and Mexico now offer many different all-inclusive resorts. The most popular for honeymoons are the Sandals resorts. These resorts are located in Jamaica, the Bahamas, St. Lucia and Antigua. However, there are many other options to choose from in all price levels. With all-inclusive vacations, the tips and drinks are also included. So, the only additional costs are tours and souvenirs. There are many resorts in Mexico now that are adults only, so they are definitely honeymoon friendly.
