Now, about me…I thoroughly enjoy publishing magazines. There is always more to learn, more people to meet and more adventures ahead. The past four years have gone by incredibly fast launching and then keeping the magazine going. What has made it so enjoyable is the overwhelmingly positive response we have gotten to the magazine.
I enjoy meeting readers and hearing how much they love getting the magazine. Advertisers have been wonderful to work with, and I appreciate every one of them. And, my team at Womeninc and The Ad Pros remind me every day what good things can happen when people work together toward the same goal.
Working with my daughter Katie is a real delight. When I was speaking to a group of women in Mankato one evening, the woman whose home we were at walked me to my car afterward. She told me that what I have with my daughter is what every mother would hope for - the opportunity to work together. Her comments made me appreciate my time with Katie even more.
Katie will be getting married soon, and we have had so much fun getting ready for it. Of course most of the wedding plans were done when she was 13, all we really needed was the groom and location! If you visit our web site on occasion you’ll know I was trying to lose weight for the special day but have fallen short of my goal. Tomorrow is another day, and no doubt I’ll keep trying to get into that really pretty brown dress.
